ISO 22000: 2005 certification for the bronze-aluminum alloy used for mechanical components for the food industry (MOCA).
The ISO 22000: 2005 certification is the international reference standard for companies that want to certify their management system in the field of food safety in order to ensure that the products are safe at the time of consumption.
In April 2014, Metal Leghe obtained the Quality Assurance System certification in accordance with the Pressure Equipment Directive (PED). This directive was issued by the European Community and it governs the design, construction and safe installation of pressure equipment and assemblies.
This directive applies to equipment such as piping, hydraulic valves and vessels with a maximum allowable pressure greater than 0.5 bar, excluding machinery.
On 27 April 2015, Metal Leghe obtained the Lloyd’s Register Certification for the manufacture of copper alloy castings, especially bronze-aluminium castings with maximum weight of 0.30 tons.
This certification demonstrates Metal Leghe’s strong commitment to improve and control all the manufacturing stages both within the company and at the supplier.
